Our Story
4Sisters Hair Care was born out of the unique and powerful bond I share with my three sisters and my connection to my hair. As the middle child, I’ve always found strength and comfort in our relationship, and much of that connection has centered around our love for hair. From a young age, hair care was more than just a routine for us; it was a way to show love, support, and creativity. Whether we were styling each other's hair, experimenting with new products, or simply sharing tips and experiences, our hair journeys were always intertwined.
Growing up with a mother who was a cosmetologist, I learned early on the importance of caring for my hair, especially as Black women. Watching her work in the salon, transforming her clients' hair and boosting their confidence, made a lasting impression on me. It was a beautiful experience that not only connected us to our love for hair but also to the broader community of women who see hair care as a vital part of their identity.
Our bond through hair care reflects what I want for my customers—a sense of connection, love, and empowerment. Just as my sisters and I have always been there for each other through our hair transitions, I want 4Sisters Hair Care to be there for you. I understand that hair is deeply personal, and I want to offer products that not only work but also make you feel supported and understood.
My sisters and I share a deep bond that goes beyond just our love for hair—we are each other’s support system, always there through life’s highs and lows. We’ve grown up together, sharing dreams, challenges, and everything in between. Our connection to hair has always been special, from doing each other’s hair as kids to discussing the latest products and styles as adults. Creating 4Sisters Hair Care was my way of building something meaningful for all of us, a brand that reflects our shared experiences, love, and passion. It’s more than a business; it’s a testament to our sisterhood and our journey together.
As a Black woman, I know the ups and downs that come with managing and styling natural hair. Our hair is constantly evolving, and it’s essential that it remains healthy while we explore our culture and creativity through it. This line is made with my sisters in mind, but it’s also made for every Black woman who has shared similar experiences—navigating the challenges and joys of hair care.
